Carry-on Baggage
Please limit your carry-on baggage to 1 piece.
Carry-on baggage should be limited to one piece with linear dimensions not exceeding 115cm (45in.) in addition to such personal effects for in cabin use as handbag, camera, etc. Total weight of the such articles should not exceed 10kg (22lbs.). Please stow your baggage properly under the seat or in overhead storage bin. Please check-in any oversize or overweight baggage at the counter. For safety reasons, any baggage exceeding the aforementioned carry-on allowance or any baggage which can not be stowed properly due to limit of cabin stowage capacity will be stowed in a cargo compartment after being handled as checked baggage at the gate or in the cabin.
Passengers are requested to minimize the carry-on baggage to a minimum so as to facilitate the passenger flow through security check.

Bulky Baggage
For bulky baggage with total linear dimensions exceeding 203cm(80in.) or with the weight exceeding 32kg(70lbs.), please contact JAL office in advance.

Free Baggage Allowance :Checked Baggage

Flights to/from U.S.A. (including Guam), Canada,Mexico,Brazil.

1)	First Class & Executive Class : 2 pieces with total linear dimensions (length+height+width) of each not exceeding 158cm (62in.). Each piece must not weigh more than 32kg (70lbs.).
2)	Economy Class : 2 pieces meeting the requirement described in (1) and in addition the sum of total linear dimensions of 2 pieces must not exceed 273cm (106in.).
3)	For infants not entitled to a seat : 1 checked baggage with total linear dimensions not exceeding 115cm (45in.), plus 1 fully collapsible stroller/pushchair or infant's carrying basket or child seat.

Flights to/from places other than U.S.A. (including Guam), Canada,Mexico,Brazil.

1)	First Class : Total weight should not exceed 40kg (88lbs.).
2)	Executive Class : Total weight should not exceed 30kg (66lbs.).
3)	Economy Class : Total weight should not exceed 20kg (44lbs.).
4)	For infants not entitled to a seat : Baggage with total weight not exceeding 10kg (22lbs.), plus 1 fully collapsible stroller/pushchair or infant's carrying basket or child seat.

(Note)As there are some exceptions to the allowances described above, please contact your nearest JAL office for exact details.

Excess Baggage
An excess baggage charge is required for baggage exceeding the free baggage allowance. Please check with the nearest JAL office or Reservations for details.

Restricted Articles
Carrying knives of any kind aboard the plane is prohibited by law, and offenders will be fined up to JPY500,000. Scissors, knives of any kind, blunt instruments such as golf club and baseball bat, articles with an extremely sharp, and other articles which can be used as a weapon cannot be brought into cabin. Passengers are requested to put these items into the checked baggage beforehand.
